I was hiking the Alpine Passes Trail and had passed the picturesque village Splügen (Switzerland) the previous afternoon and was now standing up on the pass of Safierberg. It was morning and the clouds were still hanging low on the other side. I stopped to enjoy the view and have some breakfast before starting the descent into the valley, which would take me to Safien Platz.
