One of the days on the Alpine Passes Trail hike, I passed this church of the little settlement called Thalkirch (Switzerland). The path that lead up to it had an old and beautiful wooden fence on each side, which impressed me with its rigidity in spite of no use of nails or screws, just wooden poles.
