I was reliving one of the hikes that I have done a few times over the years here in Switzerland. The hike starts in Kandersteg and goes over the pass, Bunderchrinde 2383 m, and down on the other side to another little village called Adelboden. In clear weather the hike offers a really nice view of the Bernese Alps, but this time it was a bit cloudy and therefore I switched my focus to the mountains directly in front of me. Here I could see layers of history, which go back about 45 millions years...that makes you feel pretty insignificant.
