It was my 11th and final day on this leg of the Alpine Passes Trail. I had crossed the pass Passo del Sole and arrived at the man made lake, Lago Ritom (Switzerland), where I spent some hours enjoing the view, before I made the descent to Airolo. There I would take the train back home to Basel and the rest of this trail, more precisely 450 km and 30 000 heightmeters, would have to wait until my next vacation.
